Clarkson Graduate Student Receives Robert W. Carroll Endowed Fellowship
Potsdam, NY (08/07/2019) — Clarkson graduate student Kevin Susice '18, of Saint Regis Falls, has recently received the Robert W. Carroll Endowed Fellowship for the 2019-2020 academic year. The fellowship will help Susice cover some of the costs associated with graduate school.
The fellowship was established after Robert "Bob" Carroll's passing. He was a computer systems analyst at Clarkson University and the fellowship is given to a graduate student enrolled in either physics, chemistry, mathematics, computer science, biology, or geophysics. Susice is a master's student in the Interdisciplinary Bioscience and Biotechnology program and plans on graduating this December.
"I knew that Clarkson would be a great place for pushing me academically and helping me reach my career goals. I completed my undergraduate career a semester early, majoring in biomolecular science with a minor in mathematics. After graduating last December, I jumped right into graduate school this past January. With my master's degree I hope to get a job in genetic engineering," Susice says.
