Amanda L. Ryan of Saratoga Springs, N.Y., a junior at Clarkson University majoring in financial information & analysis, received the following award(s) at the University Recognition Day ceremony during the spring semester:

The James L. Dohr Accounting Award: The James L. Dohr Accounting Scholarship and Award were created in 1983 by Mrs. James Dohr to recognize and reward Financial Information & Analysis students with an interest in accounting and/or an accounting career. The recipients, through academic achievement, demonstrate leadership potential and the ability to make significant contributions in either the field of public accounting or managerial accounting. The scholarship and award were named in honor of James L. Dohr, former chair of the Accounting and Business Law Department at Columbia University. The scholarship is awarded to a senior who intends to matriculate in the MBA Program at Clarkson University. The recipient will be known as the James L. Dohr Scholar. The award is presented to a junior Financial Information and Analysis major and will receive a monetary award.
