Kallie Desmond of Brewerton Receives Emerging Leader Award from Clarkson University

Kallie J. Desmond, a resident of Brewerton, N.Y., and sophomore biomolecular science major at Clarkson University, has been awarded the Emerging Leaders Program Award.

This award is presented to students who have completed the Clarkson University Emerging Leadership Program. In order to participate, students identified as having leadership potential were nominated by Clarkson faculty and staff and selected from a competitive candidate pool. Award recipients successfully completed interactive sessions that covered topics such as: leadership theories, parliamentary procedure, program planning, public speaking, values and ethics, communication, motivation, goal setting and strategic planning.
