Clarkson University Army ROTC Students Commissioned

The Army ROTC Golden Knight Battalion at Clarkson University commissioned ten cadets into the U.S. Army at the annual spring commissioning on May 11. The ceremony featured comments by University President Tony Collins and guest speaker retired Lt. Gen. John L. Woodward Jr. A product of Air Force ROTC, Woodward's final position before retiring was as the deputy chief of staff for communications and information and deputy chief information officer at U.S. Air Force Headquarters in Washington, D.C. The ceremony also included the swearing in of the new officers, the pinning of their gold bars by family members, and the traditional first salute, known as the silver dollar salute. The following students were commissioned at the ceremony:
